Jody Huang

Jody holds three degrees from the University of Sydney: a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance and a Master of Laws with Distinction.  She has consistently demonstrated exceptional academic performance.

Since joining Brander Smith McKnight, Jody has been an integral part of the Commercial, Civil Litigation and Financial teams.  She brings extensive expertise in handling complex civil and commercial litigation matters, including debt recovery, consumer law, business law, trusts, torts, contracts, defamation, privacy, fraud and internet scams, and franchise law.

Jody’s enjoys reviewing and drafting complex contracts and legal documents and assisting both individuals and businesses with their legal problems. Jody also has extensive experience representing clients in NSW courts, including the Local and District Courts and NCAT.

Passionate about her work, Jody is committed to delivering high-quality legal services. She adopts a problem-solving, client-focussed approach to develop strategies that help clients resolve their matters in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Jody was educated in Australia and speaks fluent Mandarin. Jody is a Chinese speaking lawyer.
